Chelsea Clinton Speaks Out — Her Story Finally Revealed

Former President Bill Clinton expressed his gratitude to medical staff and well-wishers in a heartfelt Twitter video shared Wednesday, following a week-long hospital stay.

“Hi everyone, I was so touched by the outpouring of support I received during my stay in the hospital. Thanks so much,” Clinton said. He added special thanks to the doctors and nurses at UC Irvine Medical Center, praising their “absolutely wonderful care” during his seven-day recovery.

Clinton reassured viewers about his health and shared a positive outlook:
“I, for one, am going to do my best to be around, to keep doing the most good I can, for a lot longer,” he said.

Details of the Illness

An aide, speaking anonymously to the Associated Press, explained that Clinton had a urological infection that had spread to his bloodstream. Fortunately, he never went into septic shock and is now on the mend.

Dr. Alpesh Amin, chair of the Department of Medicine at UC Irvine Medical Center, confirmed:
“His fever and white blood cell count are normalized, and he will return home to New York to finish his course of antibiotics.”
