Donald Trump didn’t hold back during a Tuesday press conference in the Oval Office, taking a pointed jab at his White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, while venting about media coverage.
Trump Highlights Negative Media Coverage
Speaking to reporters, Trump slammed the press for overwhelmingly negative reporting, claiming he receives “93 percent bad publicity.” He even referenced higher estimates, saying, “Some people say 97, but between 93 and 97.” His frustration with the media was clear and unfiltered.

A Lighthearted Swipe at Karoline Leavitt
Turning to Leavitt, Trump jokingly questioned her effectiveness, saying, “A person that gets 97 percent — maybe Karoline’s doing a poor job, I don’t know.” He then added bluntly, “You’re doing a terrible job.” He quickly softened the remark, jokingly asking if she should stay in her role: “Should we keep her? I think we’ll keep her.”
