The clip captures controllers desperately trying to stop a ground vehicle from crossing an active runway—seconds before an Air Canada Express CRJ-900 struck it.
The audio begins with routine clearance for the truck:
“Truck 1 and Company, LaGuardia Tower, requesting to cross at 4 at Delta.”
Moments later, urgency escalates:
“Stop, stop, stop. Stop, Truck 1, stop!”
Controllers then scramble to prevent further incidents:
“Delta 2603, go around, runway heading 2000.”
