Epstein Files Reveal Mentions of Several High-Profile Actors

Filmmaker Woody Allen and his wife, Soon-Yi Previn, are mentioned in connection with a 2010 dinner hosted by Epstein, attended by Prince Andrew, publicist Peggy Siegal, journalist Katie Couric, and TV host George Stephanopoulos. Allen downplayed the interactions, while Previn’s emails to Epstein included controversial commentary on #MeToo, sparking debate over their significance.

Talent Agents and Intimate Exchanges

Industry powerhouse Casey Wasserman also appears in the files. The documents show he traveled on Epstein’s private plane and exchanged personal, flirtatious messages with Epstein’s convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003, years before Maxwell’s 2021 conviction for child sex trafficking. Wasserman has not faced criminal charges and described the emails as regrettable, noting they occurred “long before her horrific crimes came to light.”

Context Matters

The files also mention dozens of other Hollywood figures, including Alyssa Milano, Whoopi Goldberg, and Chris Tucker. Officials stress that inclusion in the documents is not evidence of criminal activity. Apart from Epstein and Maxwell, no one referenced has been charged in connection to the crimes.

While the release fuels fascination and debate online, it also underscores the importance of distinguishing between references, casual contact, and verified wrongdoing—reminding the public that a name in a document isn’t a conviction.
