Jacqueline Falk, Daughter of ‘Columbo’ Star Peter Falk, Dies at 60

Jacqueline Falk, the adopted daughter of legendary television actor Peter Falk, has passed away at the age of 60.

She was discovered earlier this week at a residence in Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, her death has been officially ruled a suicide. Authorities have not confirmed whether a note was left, and the case remains open as standard procedures continue.

Jacqueline was one of two daughters adopted by Peter Falk and his first wife, Alyce Mayo, during their marriage, which lasted from 1960 until 1976.

Both of her parents had passed away prior to her death. Peter Falk, widely recognized for his role as Lieutenant Columbo in the classic TV series Columbo, died in 2011 at the age of 83 following a prolonged struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Alyce Mayo passed away in 2016 at the age of 85.

Jacqueline Falk’s passing brings a somber close to a family closely connected to one of television’s most iconic figures, remembered for his lasting impact on entertainment history.
