‘Pawn Stars’ Star Corey Harrison Asks Fans for Support After Serious Motorcycle Accident

Reality TV personality Corey Harrison has reached out to fans for support after facing major medical expenses following a serious motorcycle accident in Mexico.

The Pawn Stars star says the crash earlier this year left him dealing with severe injuries and significant hospital bills.

Serious Injuries After Crash

According to reports from TMZ, the accident occurred in January and resulted in multiple injuries for the 42-year-old television personality. Harrison suffered 11 broken ribs, a concussion, and facial trauma, which led to complications during his recovery.

The situation also caused him to miss an important family event — the wedding of his father, Rick Harrison.

Hospital Stay Cut Short Due to Costs

Harrison told TMZ that he initially remained hospitalized for about two weeks after the accident. However, rising medical costs reportedly forced him to leave the hospital earlier than recommended.

While continuing his recovery at home in Tulum, he began experiencing intense pain. A doctor visiting his home reportedly administered IV fluids and morphine to help manage his condition.

During this period, Harrison said his oxygen levels dropped dangerously low, creating fears that his condition could become life-threatening.

Emergency Treatment and Multiple Surgeries

Because he could not afford to return to the same hospital where he first received treatment, friends reportedly transported him to another medical facility that offered more affordable care.

At the second hospital, Harrison underwent three surgeries and remained admitted for an additional 18 days while doctors monitored his recovery.

Mounting Medical Bills

Altogether, the reality TV star claims the medical treatment cost him nearly $120,000. He told TMZ that the expenses drained his savings and left him with only a few hundred dollars in his bank account.

To manage the costs, Harrison said he borrowed money from family and friends, including his father.

Turning to Crowdfunding for Help

To cover remaining expenses, Harrison has created a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe, asking fans and supporters to help during his recovery.

Explaining his current condition, he said he is still unable to move around easily.

“What am I going to do, fly to Las Vegas and start selling items? I can’t even get out of my recliner,” Harrison explained.

Status With the Show

Although Pawn Stars reruns continue to air and still generate some residual income, Harrison said he is no longer actively involved with the series.

Meanwhile, his father Rick Harrison, who has reportedly accumulated significant wealth through the show and related ventures, commented on the situation to TMZ.

“Corey is a grown man, and he will handle his life the way he chooses,” Rick said.
