Authorities have confirmed that 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Catalina Foothills home in the early hours of February 1. Officials reported signs of forced entry, blood evidence inside the residence, and a mysteriously deactivated security system. The latest lead came unexpectedly during routine municipal maintenance. A city drainage worker clearing debris roughly two kilometers from the Guthrie estate spotted a black backpack lodged beneath a storm channel grate. The partially submerged bag showed visible bloodstains, prompting an immediate call to law enforcement.
